Your way to SIXTAfter exiting the toll and arriving area in the arrival hall, please turn right and go straight ahead toward the information desk (50 meters). Behind the information desk, take the escalator on the left side down. Follow the Car rental signs to P10 and just before entering P10, the car rental offices and SIXT branch will be on the right side. By carFollow the signs to Oslo Airport and building P10. You can park at any level available for private vehicles. Payment can be made in the parking machines in buidling P10 or online. With public transportationBy train: Take train til Oslo Gardermoen Airport Station and follow entrance airport signs. After entering the main terminal building turn right and go signs to P10 and just before entering P10, the car rental offices and our SIXT straight ahead following car rental signs (40 meters). By bus: Take bus to stop "Oslo Airport". Enter the mainterminal building and follow the Car rental signs. Take the escalator down near information desk. Follow the Car rental branch will be on the right side. SIXT parkingThe SIXT parking area is located in the building P10, right next to the terminal. When collecting the car follow Rental car parking signs inside the rental car offices area. Once you left the offices area the first parking you will enter is parking area 1A which belongs to SIXT. Vehicle ReturnWhen returning your rental car to Oslo Airport, please follow Rental Car/Leiebil return signs. Your vehicle is to be returned inside parking building P10 on area 1A, just outside the main terminal building. After entering P10 building, drive down the ramp and enter the car rental area. Follow the SIXT signs to our parking area 1A and use any parking spot between 1-55 for your return. Please follow the Car rental keydrop signs and drop the key in our key box located on the way to the terminal.

Drivers Age

23 to 99 Years

Young Drivers Age: 19 to 22 Years Charge 130 NOK per Day Includes 25% Tax

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Cross Border:

For Cross Border Rentals to Denmark, Finland and Sweden no Greencard is needed.

For Cross Border Rentals out of the Nordic countries a written confirmation is needed. Cross Border Rentals are on request only, please contact the local rental station.

When the station has given the permission, a Greencard is needed. This will be given to the customer at the counter.

In addition, a charge of 3 NOK per km will be added to your final rental amount.

Ferry trips: It is allowed to use the rental car on ferries. The protection remains valid.

In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.

Registration Fee/Road Tax:

In some Norwegian cities toll road fee may apply. The car will be equipped with an AutoPass chip next to the driving mirror. The cost for the chip is 45.00 NOK per day, maximum 295.00 NOK per rental. Additionally there will be extra costs for passing a toll road station, which will be charged from your credit card within 5 days after return.

Moving or removing the chip is not allowed and will be fined.

Cancellation and no-show policy

What is your cancellation policy for fully prepaid or part-paid bookings?

1 - If you cancel 48 hours prior to your pick-up, you will be refunded in full.

2 - If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of pick-up, you'll receive a refund minus USD55. If your online payment is less than USD55, no refund will be made for your car rental booking.

3 - If your booking is made less than 48 hours before pick-up, the cancellation policy will automatically apply to your booking.

4 - All cancellations should be made on our online portal and not with the car rental agent. Should you agree to cancel directly with the car rental agent on arrival, you must also inform us of this change to your booking.

5 - Amending your booking or cancelling optional extras may not be possible less than 48 hours before pick-up.

If you purchased our Damage Refund Insurance product and have since decided to cancel your car rental booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will be cancelled automatically.

If you wish to amend or rearrange your booking, the Damage Refund Insurance will initially be cancelled. We will, however, automatically create a new policy for your new booking.

In both cases you will receive an email to confirm the cancellation at the email address you have provided during the online booking process.

Please be aware that if you cancel your insurance policy less than 24 hours before the start of your car rental agreement, no refund for insurance will be granted.

What is a no-show?

A 'no-show' occurs for the following reasons:

1 - You didn't inform us about your cancellation prior to your pick-up time.

2 - You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.

3 - You failed to provide the documentation that's required to pick up the car.

4 - You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver's name with enough available funds on it.

In the event of any of the above, no refunds will be made to you.

The car rental company reserves the right to refuse a car if you fail to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car's security deposit. In such a case, unless the car hire has been cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, you will not be entitled to a refund.
